We have been counting the terms of every arXiv announcement since 19 October 2026. A rise only means something against several weeks of history: the first topics come out around 9 November 2026.

How it works

Every day, we count how many new papers use each term of one to three words in their title and abstract. A term rises when this week its share of papers is at least twice its share over the previous four weeks. An AI then groups the rising terms into topics and names them; it never decides what rises: the counts do.
