Abstract: This chapter examines the application of the stochastic collocation method (SCM) in electromagnetic dosimetry. It starts with two examples of stochastic-deterministic modeling with cylindrical body model; in the first one, the body is exposed to a low-frequency plane wave, while the second example features the exposure to electromagnetic pulse. In the past two decades, some studies have provided evidence of greater effect on biological systems when exposed to pulsed signals such as radar or mobile radiotelephones than to non-pulsed signals. Moving on from electromagnetic (EM) dosimetry at low frequencies and in time domain (TD) to high-frequency EM dosimetry, as well as from canonical body models to anatomically realistic ones, the following SCM+EM coupling example features the stochastic dosimetry of induced electric field in a three-compartment human head. Finally, the last example of stochastic EM dosimetry pertains to incident EM dosimetry.
