ETF Hedge Fund Portfolios
David Fry
Abstract: This chapter highlights representative ETF hedge fund portfolios that comport with the guidelines and philosophy outlined. The basic framework upon which an investor can build themes and models is also studied. The ability of retail investors and their financial advisors to develop customized hedge funds had never been available until now. ETFs have changed the game completely, which put retail investors on a more equal footing with large hedge fund investors. Using a shorter time frame to analyze markets means more trading. Dave's Special Portfolio (DSP) is intended to serve a different subscriber profile—a more active and aggressive investor. There are four major differences with DSP to the main trading programs: time, activity, open menu, and leverage.
