, , , , Financial inclusion and inclusive growth are crucial for empowering vulnerable sections of society and reducing poverty. The Government of India has implemented various measures to increase access to formal financial services for unbanked households. This study aims to assess the impact of financial inclusion on the socio-economic status of households in Karnataka, focusing on inclusive growth. The analysis is based on primary data collected from the Revenue Divisions of Karnataka. The results reveal a disparity in the nature and extent of financial inclusion. Access to formal banking services has a positive effect on the socio-economic status of vulnerable households, leading to inclusive growth. However, there are limitations to this study. Firstly, the analysis is limited to rural and urban taluks in the sample area, which may not represent the entire population. Secondly, while access to formal financial services is assumed to be a key driver of inclusive growth, other factors may also contribute to overall economic development. Additionally, expanding the sample size by including more rural and urban villages would provide a wider geographical perspective. Due to time and resource constraints, this was not possible in the present study; therefore, the findings should be interpreted with caution as they may not be conclusive. Furthermore, it is important to note that this study relies on cross-sectional data collected through a snapshot method; a longitudinal study with panel data would provide more robust information and results in understanding the impact of access to banking services over time. In conclusion, financial inclusion plays a strategic role in promoting inclusive growth and reducing poverty among vulnerable sections of society. Accessing formal banking services positively impacts the socio-economic status of households. To further enhance inclusivity and address poverty issues effectively, it is recommended that a model be developed for making the financial system more inclusive and pro-poor.

Having access to banks and other financial services can help vulnerable families improve their lives and make society more inclusive for everyone.
This study had some limitations, like only looking at a small area and not being able to include more data from different places. But it still gives us important information about the impact of financial inclusion.
Using data from one point in time can give us some information, but studying over a longer period of time with more data would be even better.
Financial inclusion is important because it helps reduce poverty and make sure that everyone has a chance to benefit from economic development.
It's recommended that we create a model or plan to make the financial system fairer for everyone, especially those who are poor."
Financial Inclusion and Inclusive Growth: Assessing the Impact of Access to Banking Services in Karnataka

Findings

Conclusion & Recommendations
In conclusion, financial inclusion plays a strategic role in promoting inclusive growth and reducing poverty among vulnerable sections of society by positively impacting their socio-economic status when accessing formal banking services . To further enhance inclusivity and address poverty issues effectively it is recommended that a model be developed for making the financial system more inclusive and pro-poor by expanding sample sizes beyond those used here as well as employing longitudinal studies with panel data collection methods over extended periods rather than just cross sectional ones as done here..
