Résumé : The demand for ultra-reliable and low-latency vehicular communication is growing with the deployment of millimeter-wave (mmWave) bands in vehicular-to-everything (V2X) systems. mmWave links, however, suffer from frequent disconnections due to high mobility and line-of-sight (LoS) blockages. This paper presents a joint proactive edge caching and predictive beam management framework for mmWave vehicular networks. The approach integrates mobility-aware content caching at roadside units (RSUs), blockage-aware beam alignment, and cooperative cache coordination. Using a MATLAB simulation model that adheres to the presented system formulation, the proposed model is compared against a reactive baseline. The results show that the proposed model lowers the latency by 38.1% at the largest cache size and 32.3% at moderate vehicular density, together with cache-hit improvements and backhaul load reductions across the tested ranges. These findings indicate that coupling proactive caching with predictive beam procedures substantially improves end-to-end performance in realistic vehicular scenarios.
