The COVID-19 pandemic imposed on humanity rapid and profound changes in the way it lived and related. In this unstable and complex scenario, in which public health and ethical issues were revisited, this essay sought to visualize some solidarity actions to offer elements of reflection in an attempt to deepen the theme on solidarity as a gift of care and responsibility, a human resource effective to face the pandemic reality. In the health crisis with SARS-CoV-2, solidarity rekindled, in people and societies, ethical humanitarian and community attributes, of care and responsibility, which generated solidarity actions in the confrontation and overcoming of COVID-19, Solidarity can be a possible promising and safe path for the development of human and social potential, an ethical paradigm that redirects individual rights towards collective rights and the common good.
