## Summary

Despite the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in various sectors, its application in education remains largely untapped. However, AI-powered learning has the ability to revolutionize education by providing personalized and practical learning experiences for millions of learners, particularly in the context of online learning platforms. In a recent study comparing two popular online learning platforms, researchers observed significant differences in learning outcomes. The first platform followed a traditional model, delivering content through lecture videos and multiple-choice quizzes. The second platform, called Korbit, offered a highly personalized and active learning experience. The study involved 199 participants and revealed remarkable results. Students on the Korbit platform which provided full feedback and personalized guidance demonstrated significantly higher course completion rates and achieved learning gains that were 2 to 2.5 times higher than students on the traditional MOOC platform. Furthermore, even students in a control group who did not receive personalized feedback on the Korbit platform performed worse than those on the MOOC platform. These findings highlight the immense impact that can be achieved with an AI-powered system that prioritizes personalized and active learning approaches. By making this technology and learning experience accessible to millions of learners worldwide, there is an opportunity to democratize education and propel it into a new era.
